The stars! The fashion! The drama! We’re already getting amped for one of the year’s most glamorous nights: The Academy Awards.

But what’s one major problem we’ve always had with this big event? Our favorite leading man is missing a gold statue in his hand… We’re lookin’ at you, Mr. Dicaprio! So as we cross our fingers in the hopes that this stud finally gets the awards he deserves, here are some of our favorite Leo moments from over the years.

1. The Titanic

Because DUH! Leo in this timeless movie will forever be our one true love. We would have made space for you on that door, Jack.  

2. Romeo and Juliet

We have pretty high standards when it comes to love stories, but Leo as a star-crossed lover surpassed any and all expectations we may have had. *swoons*

3. The Wolf of Wall Street

Even as a total money-obsessed maniac, his signature charisma makes him hard not to love. Plus, the man knows how to have a good time. 

4. Catch Me if You Can

He may have engaged in some debatably legal (okay, very illegal) pastimes, but a sly young Leo dressed in uniform? We'll take them all, please and thank you.

5. Inception

Whether he was winning over our hearts in finely-tailored suits, or tugging at our heart strings, Leo was an absolute gem here. And yes, our minds are still reeling from this movie.
