GO. FIGHT. WIN! We went back to school to visit the University of Michigan, alma mater of our founder & CEO, Zara Terez Tisch. We hung out with the students, toured & tailgated, and ate a lot (no really, A LOT) of pizza. Here's how we got our #college on.

First up, the lovely sisters of Alpha Phi and Alpha Epsilon Phi showed us around campus, and also welcomed us into their houses as we talked Terez values, female entrepreneurship, and what it takes to build a business from the ground up. College is where Zara found one of her most supportive and welcoming communities, and it played a large role in her creation of Terez and all that we stand for.

Once we were done talking business, it was time for some fun. We hosted a pizza party at NYPD, an Ann Arbor staple, where we gave out free slices of 'za (in exchange for some funny photos). What would you do for a slice of pizza?!

Zara was so kind as to take us on an tour of all her favorite places in Ann Arbor as well. We stopped by her go-to brunch spot, her old sorority house, her #1 hot dog spot, and a number of beautiful campus buildings where she learned the tools to create a kickass business (although she admitted to never visiting the library—hah!).

It's bad luck to step on the M—unless you've graduated!

Then it was TAILGATE time! We enlisted the help of the best food truck in Ann Arbor—shoutout to Bigalora!—to feed our "fellow" students even more pizza, while we handed out alllll the Terez swag. Hats and gloves and sunglasses, oh my!

And of course, we ended our trip by cheering on Zara's team as they beat the University of Maryland (funny coincidence—Terez Co-founder Amanda went to Maryland! Better luck next time, Terps...).

We wish we could've stayed forever—thanks for having us!
