Avocado toast and mac 'n cheese and vegan ice cream, oh my! Check out where the Terez team gets their grub on in NYC. Because in case you couldn't already tell, we like food. A lot.

1. Joseph Leonard

Where: West Village, 170 Waverly Place

Why: A super quaint space with just a handful of tables makes for an intimate setting. But the food is quite the opposite with its larger than life flavors and original spins on classic dishes.

Terez's Order: Whether or not you’re a bacon-fanatic, if you're heading here for brunch, the country fried bacon with honey and tabasco is out of this world. And the Brussel Sprouts with sriracha are an absolute must.

2. Poco NYC

Where: Alphabet City, 33 Avenue B

Why: A staple spot for those in search of Sunday bottomless boozy brunch, Poco is always buzzing with the chatter of a hip, young crowd, and a poppin’ playlist in the background always makes for a fun atmosphere.

Terez's Order: Four words: Lobster. Mac. And. Cheese. So rich and decadent you probably won’t be able to finish it, so you’ll be walking out of Poco full, happy, and with a doggy bag that’ll likely last you for tomorrow’s lunch and dinner, too.

3. Ramini Espresso Bar

Photo: @ramini.espresso.bar

Where: Garment District, 265 W 37th Street

Why: Ramini is the perfect little joint for the girl who shys away from the mass-marketed Starbucks cup, but is looking to quench her morning thirst with an incredible cup of freshly brewed, rich coffee. And with every cup purchased, you help support small, local businesses at the very same time! You also have the option to purchase one of many mini pastries that go perfectly with your morning caffeine kick, and they’re just the right size to keep you from feeling guilty afterwards.

Terez's Order: No matter what dietary restrictions you may have, they have a mini pastry with your name on it!

4. Two Hands

Where: Little Italy, 164 Mott Street

Why: This Aussie joint in Little Italy will give you the healthy fuel you crave after a workout. The ambiance is adorable and friendly (and looks great on the ‘gram).

Terez's Order: Hands down (pun intended), the best Acai Bowl in NYC! Their Avocado Toast is also a total dream. Just look at that yolk!

5. by CHLOE.

Where: West Village, 185 Bleecker Street

Why: Plant based food satisfaction! by CHLOE kills it every single time… You won’t believe it’s vegan. Their food has us “tempted to tempeh” any day. And have you seen their Instagram? We love!

Terez's Order: Guac Burger and Dairy Free Ice Cream! So good, you’ll forget why you were ever eating meat in the first place.

6. Seamore’s

Where: Nolita, 390 Broome Street

Why: Bright, white-washed decor and cute outdoor seating give this hot new restaurant a fun, beachy vibe.

Terez's Order: There’s something for carnivores and vegans alike at Seamore’s, but do yourself a favor and order the Crispy Fish Tacos. Or the Seared Fish Tacos. Or really anything on the menu.

7. DOUGH

Where: Flatiron District, 14 W 19th Street

Why: Perfect for when we’re feeling indulgent (which is more often than not), Dough creates tons of unique twists on your average doughnut (doughnut ice cream sundae, anyone?), but also offers classic flavors as well.

Terez's Order: Just thinking about the Salted Chocolate Caramel Doughnut already has us drooling, and the Hibiscus Doughnut is a one-of-a-kind, refreshing flavor.

8. Cafe Mogador

Where: East Village, 101 St Marks Place

Why: This Moroccan restaurant is always bustling with a hungry crowd, and the aromatic smells wafting out of the little cafe are sure to draw you in.

Terez's Order: Although all their meals are great, Cafe Mogador's brunch is out of this world. We recommend spicing up your boring, everyday egg-routine with some amazing hummus and tabouli—you can thank us later.
