To me, joy means finding peace and love in small moments, things, and people close to me.
What are some of the small things you celebrate?
I celebrate new recipes that are successful on the first attempt, the small wins of my friends, and every day I am granted health and happiness!
Tell us about a really special time in your life, and why you treasure it.
Right before I graduated from college, my three best friends all lived within walking distance of me. We began a tradition of constantly having one another over for themed dinner parties. My friends bring me so much joy, and I am so glad I will always have those memories of nights filled with good food and laughing young ladies.
We all have trying moments. What is something positive you did or chose to focus on to keep you moving forward?
When things get tough, I put on music from every feel-good memory and concert I've ever attended and I have dance parties
with my cat, Bella.
Tell us about someone who's been a positive influence
in your life.
I had a mentor named Erica who truly taught me what it meant to work hard, and approach the world with an open heart and mind. She showed me there's power in softness too, and she will always mean the world to me.
