✨ I celebrate morning coffee, holding my daughters hands, sun shining on my face, chasing rainbows, Peter Pan collared shirts, needlepointing a bright canvas, a good sweat and all things candy!

My summers growing up I spent on an island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It's the type of place that you can see millions of stars with the naked eye and the only noise at night are from peepers in the marsh. There was nothing do so there was everything to do.
We learned to play without toys, we learned to make sandcastles with our bare hands, we learned the art of finding shells, to mention a few of my favorites!
Life was simple. So much of who I am and what I have created was shaped from that time in my life.
We all have trying moments. What is something positive you did or chose to focus on to keep you moving forward?
🐝 HAPPY
Life will throw curve balls when you least expect it. (I lost my dad suddenly when I was 23-definitely did not see that coming). The only thing we can do is to breathe through it and find the happy. Happiness is a choice, and that's my mantra. I always try to find the positive. What's that saying don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff? I really believe that.
Tell us about someone who's been a positive influence
in your life.

My daughters. They are these magical beings, each very different, that I am constantly enamored by. They make me want to be a better person and continue to try to make the world a happier place for them to live. Especially as they get older and are more aware of everything, I am inspired to be the best example for them. And there's nothing more positive for me than that!

Anything with a photograph, I have an old-school pair of a beach scene that are years old, but I still rock. Currently loving the ski scene!!

Nothing more delicious than a classic lemon icebox cake!
